This is where you want your kids to be. And you’ll know it too the minute you walk in the door. The teachers LOVE my children (like more than I do at times haha). I know this because my girls are so excited when they see their teachers. Jeena, the owner, is so communicative and involved. And I feel like since she’s the owner she’s invested more than staff at these other franchised daycare factories. It’s super clean and well maintained. They also spend a lot of time outside which is a huge fan of. There is literally nothing I would change about this place.

As a first time mom, finding childcare for my tiny new baby was a nightmare. I didn't know where to start and I didn't know how to sort through the emotions. We toured every "brick and mortar" daycare in a 10 mile radius. We put down non-refundable deposits and our names on waiting lists for a spot at the "best of the best" daycares. All the while I couldn't shake my feeling that these places were impersonal and my son would be put in que. It always felt like I was visiting the puppy pound when I watched these children peep their heads up from the cribs wondering if it were their turn to go home.  Finally, we found Little Critters in Home Daycare via a recommendation from good friends. I immediately felt more at ease and comfortable with the idea of leaving my baby for the 1st time. It was an easy decision once I met Jeena and was invited into to her home.  Now my son is 19 months old and absolutely loves the place. Little Critters does more than provide a safe and happy daycare. They work with your child on all the milestones that come with being a kid and learning new things. They have helped a first time mom figure out a regular routine that we can follow at home. I love it when my son sings a new song or says something new that we know we didn't teach him. It shows us how much he learns at Little Critters and how lucky we are to have found them.

When we moved to Smyrna 3 years ago, we were not happy with any day care in the area and Jeena's day care was literally an answered prayer. It did not take us long to understand our daughter was in best hands.The first five years of a child's life are fundamentally important. At her school you can be assured that child receives plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day and all the encouragement and support your child needs. Jeena goes out of her way and above and beyond what is expected from a daycare provider. Krystal, the Infant teacher is amazing with kids. They are caring, compassionate and very dedicated. I am very proud of my daughter's all-round development and I highly recommend Jeena's new venture Compass Academy.

Compass academy is an amazing place for kids to be every day. It’s super clean, organized, has tons of outside space. Literally a dream daycare. What’s best is the home-like environment. Ms Jeena seems to treat the kids exactly like her own. I came in one time and my daughter had fallen and was upset. A lot of people would’ve (understandably) just said “you’re ok, keep playing!” but Ms Jeena was holding her, trying to distract her and it made me realize— I would never find a better place for my baby! They serve great meals, and they use apps to keep you updated on your child’s day. Really well run place.

We love Compass Academy for many reasons. They have a low infant to teacher ratio, the children have the opportunity to be outside frequently, and the teachers emphasize learning through playing. I love that all of the teachers have years of experience. I continue to be impressed with their use of technology so that I can easily monitor my child's activity throughout the day.

Compass Academy is just wonderful. The nightmare of finding a daycare as a new mom is so stressful. Please take time and tour and meet the team. Jeena and the Compass Academy teachers are amazing and took away that stress. Obviously I wish I could be home with my son, but that's not an option and Compass was the best choice for my family!!!

We cannot say enough about our experience at Compass Academy. Jeena and team do a fantastic job of providing a nurturing, fun environment for children to learn and grow. The facility is always clean, and the staff is consistently looking for new ways to enhance the childcare experience (garden, new playground equipment, etc). The business operations also run very smoothly. Wonderful place!

Compass Academy was an answer to our daycare prayers! After shopping around Smyrna, we found Compass Academy through a friend's recommendation and couldn't be happier. The atmosphere is great for our 3 month old and I am comfortable knowing he's well taken care of and loved. Jeena has been fabulous to work with, and truly makes the experience feel personal. They also have some GREAT technology that lets me get a sneak peek into my little one's day before I even pick him up. As a new momma who misses her little man, this has been amazing. We even get pictures of him some days during the day! Highly recommend Compass Academy to anyone out there looking. :)

The family who owns this daycare saved me 8 years ago when the daycare was run from their home. (Lil Critters). My daughter experienced a warm, loving and fun environment after a nightmare experience with a different area daycare where kids were ill attended to and had snot running down their faces.  Knowing my child was so happy hanging out with "Auntie Jeena" and Miss Krystal helped me focus on my job during the day. We've remained trusted friends over the years. Your child will be cared for as if they were one of the daycare worker's own cherished children.

We started with this daycare when it was in-home 8 1/2 years ago.  Miss Jeena and Miss Krystal had both my children (my son from 13 months,daughter from 6 weeks), getting them amazingly prepared for school.  It's almost not right to call it "daycare" but should be called "whole-care" because they focus on a holistic approach to learning through experience and love.  Knowing they were getting the best learning around coupled with getting the best care and love around could not have been a better experience!  I highly recommend Compass Academy for your child.
